No próximo dia 15 de Abril de 2008, entre as 14 e as 17 horas, Andrew Olah, da empresa Olah Inc, Canadá, proferirá na sala B1.14 uma palestra sobre marketing na indústria têxtil. Andrew trabalha em consultoria na área do Marketing Têxtil há mais de 20 anos.

Curriculum
OLAH INC. started in 1959 as a fabric sales agency company.
The company has evolved to be not only one of the largest textile
sales agencies in the world, but a fabric and wash development
resource, a valued garment supplier from multiple global regions,
and marketing consultant to global companies wishing to
effectively position their products in the American denim, casual
and better markets.
Andrew Olah, CEO Olah Inc., controlling partner of Olah Inc.,
took over the company in 1976. He has worked with textile
factories and garment factories in over 30 countries for 31
years. He is an experienced consultant, having acted for
assorted textile mills, and apparel manufacturers for over 20
years.
Mr. Olah organizes four Kingpins (the Ultimate Jeans show) shows
per year and each winter semester, teaches fabric development,
fashion marketing, at F.I.T. (Fashion Institute) in New York. Mr.
Olah leads a class through the process of making an entire jeans
collection. Kingpins is sponsored by Dow Chemical and their
new olefin stretch fiber XLA.
Mr. Olah currently consults for Bayer Crop Science.
He is an Invited Speaker to SAI (Social Accountability
International) "Human Rights At Work, The Next Decade" in
November 2007.
Mr. Olah is a member of F.I.T.'s Advisary Board and has acted as
consultant to World Peace 1, an NGO. He is also a judge at the LA
Fashion Awards for best Jean Designer in America.
